When I arrived the staff were obviously under pressure. They were very helpful and friendly but, although my order - which had been e-mailed in advance - had been prepared overnight, there were some mistakes that had to be rectified. Also, the Wine Store's offer of a free crossing if one spends a sufficient amount is a little confusing as the booking has to be made by the Wine Store itself. As it happened, I received a voucher for a free crossing (by ferry, not by the Tunnel) when I returned home. The prices are unbelievably good when compared to the UK and it really is difficult to know when to stop loading one's trolley. I shall be a regular visitor from now on and I hope they manage to become a little more streamlined in their operation. I wish them well.
