I have been day shopping in Calais for many years and found you when I could no longer deal with the rudeness of the staff at Majestic. I normally buy champagne, a case or two of better quality wine, normally Rhone, and a good deal of £3/4 wine for everyday drinking. In the last section I am increasingly impressed by Argentine Malbec.
