We have regularly visited The Calais Wine Superstore for years. It's a totally painless experience. We just pre-order our wine from the comfort of our own home via the website. We then either take advantage of their free Euro Tunnel ticket or book our own ticket and take up Calais Wine's offer of free wine. When we turn up at the store all our wine is already on a pallet, which they wheel out & we pack our car. In fact we have been known to be back at the port or tunnel within 1.5 - 2 hours. The wine is very good value - we find no trouble in getting some really nice wines within our budget of £2 a bottle :)
