We do not pre-order, but commit to spending sufficient to guarantee our crossing (no problem). On our recent visit we purchased good quality wines at a fraction of the UK cost. The benefit of not pre-ordering is that you can sample the wines before choosing your final purchases. We pay by cheque in Sterling - which is cleared immediately and we know what we are paying! In every respect we cannot fault our experiences with Calais Wine Superstore!
