Calais Wine has an excellent range of wine at an excellent range of prices. It also has some good Greene King real ales. The staff are helpful and pleasant and the store is easy to find your way around. There's tasting too for non drivers. I like it for the budget wines around £2, and the range of French wines at all prices. I visit every year and like the fact that wines I have enjoyed one year are available in the next year at the next vintage. Great place.
