My teeth were discoloured from having a lot of antibiotics as a baby due to a serious operation. Then at age 11, I broke my upper 2 front teeth and knocked out my lateral incisor on a bumper-car steering wheel! I had a brace and crowns but was never happy with my teeth. About 17 years ago I had my upper 10 front teeth made-over, but over time they had become tatty and worn and I was still unhappy with my lower teeth. In September, I had my upper 10 and lower 10 front teeth made-over. I had all 20 done at once – but this was not a problem as at every stage of the treatment Dr Johannes put me at ease and ensured that I was comfortable and explained what he was doing. After a life time of having ‘terrible gnashers’, my teeth were transformed by Dr Johannes in to a lovely smile which has made me much more confident. I can't stop smiling – especially if pass a mirror or see my reflection in a shop window! Before, my teeth were so bad that I always kept my lips together when smiling – I am now re-learning to smile, to show off my great teeth!
