A bit confused about all the rave reviews of the food, the rice that came with our meal was microwave rice and the chips tasted like Sainsbury’s cafe chips? The chocolate fudge cake is also the exact same cake you get from Romeos (chicken shop takeaway in Chorley). The food wasn’t bad but it’s definitely not justified paying restaurant prices for. The venue is super nice and would have loved to make it a regular place but the food was just naff. Don’t know if there was a different chef cooking that night or what, but it was Wetherspoons calibre
