My TV shield has been outside for at least six years through the winter and the summer in Long Island. New York and the TV works great. I've never had any water infiltration. I do keep it closed all the time and I've never changed the moisture absorber and it just has no moisture in it. It works excellent. I tell everybody about my TV shield because everybody that comes over wows at it.
