I have just recently collected my CAMY automatic / self wind watch from your outlet in York. I had quite an extensive overhaul done I.E. complete re-furbishment, repair, replacement parts, including a new glass, winder etc. extensive work.
I was not entirely satisfied with the outcome as I seemed to have to wait a bit longer than quoted with no call, correspondence, E mail , after 15 weeks of silence I phoned to ask when I was to receive my watch back, I was told approx. another 2 weeks making it a total of 17 weeks instead of the 12 I was quoted.
It would have been much appreciated if someone had took the time to let me know what was actually going on in the interim instead of me poking around in the dark.
Also I was disappointed that the new winder that was fitted is not as the original, a screw down crown, it is now a standard WHY?
I would appreciate a return Email /call if possible to the reasons regarding the crown in particular.
