We haven't had anyone look at our chimney in years. Thank goodness we called Hudson Valley Chimney. Their technicians were very thorough and explained in detail what time and the elements have done to our chimney and liner. He even had us look up with a flashlight. We were shocked. His calm explanation of how to resolve our problems and the choices available were very welcome and put us at ease. We feel we are in good hands for the work we need done. Today they came back and installed the Woodstove over our fireplace. They covered every inch of our floors with mats for protection. I can't begin to tell you how hard this company works. The owner himself came to install! When do you ever get this level of service. There are thoroughness, courtesy and attention to detail is so admirable. We will never use another company.
