I had an appointment with The Chimney Pros at home in Sagamore Beach MA this morning between 9am & 11am. I was contacted by Michael at 9:31am to let me know “I am on my way”. At 11:15am I called Chimney Pros and told them that nobody showed up for the appointment. I had told the person to Cancel the appointment because I had to leave my house by 12:15pm for another appointment. He apologized and canceled the appointment. About 15 minutes after that I got a call from Michael, I didn’t answer it because I was busy. 5 minutes later he was ringing the doorbell. So I explained to him that he needed to hurry because I needed to leave the house by 12:15. So he did do one chimney flu cleaning, and was done at about 12:15 PM. He sent me a link via text message so that I could pay for the work he had done. When I clicked on the link in the text message it did not load any information and I could not pay the bill. About an hour later at 1:30 PM I got another call from Michael asking why I hadn’t paid the bill yet. I explained that the link he gave me did not work so he sent me another one when I tried it at 1:30pm it worked. I paid the $149 bill within minutes after that. The invoice said that the bill was overdue which I didn’t understand, but I decided to pay it because I had no time to call them and try to work things out. I considered the way that this whole thing was handled is very poor customer service. I waited around for two hours and 15 minutes waiting for somebody to show up, and no one told me that Mike was not going be there on time. I will not be using Chimney Pros again.
