Dodgy, that is how we would describe the service representative who came to our house. I initially called on a $99 per chimney offer ($125 usual). The lady on the phone stated that if it were really dirty, the cost for cleaning would be $239ea. When he came to our house, he provided a quote of $990 for the two. When my wife challenged with the $239ea max, he quickly lowered it to that price, asking for cash or check. She respectfully sent him on his way.
