Service person told me I needed a new valve. BUT, he thought he could fix it for $300. That made no sense to me. I asked him how much the valve would cost. He emailed "the office" and showed me an amount of $1,199. I said no, I will get another opinion. He tried to talk me into "letting" him try and fix the fireplace telling me I wouldn't have to pay if it didn't work. No. I called NWNatural to come look at it. They just left after opening the grate, telling me the gas had been turned off, and started it right up. Chimney pros is a scam! BIG wast of $49!
