Absolute scam. Advertised a sweep for $99. When I called they said it's actually $149. OK - I'll pay the additional $50 because $99 is really inexpensive. I asked if I should remove the rain cap and he said it's not necessary because they sweep from the bottom up. That was weird because my chimney is easily accessible (even without a ladder), but not totally uncommon. When they showed up in a regular pickup truck (no signage, no ladders, just a kid in a truck) they almost immediately said I needed a deep clean for $500. He pushed and pushed and pushed. I should have kicked him out of the house, but he proceeded with the "sweep" using 3 extension rods (only 12 feet total) and a brush that literally had 5 bristles. HE WAS DONE IN LESS THAN 5 MINUTES! Shame on my for not putting my boot in has a$$ and throwing him out.
