What a Joke - The English Bed Company, I ordered & paid for the Lewis Full Bed (King Size) on the 22/01/2022, with a 8-10 weeks delivery date. After 12 weeks, after not hearing from the company I began to make enquires to the company as to why the delay and when I could expect delivery. The company apologised for delay & said they would look into delay. After 16 weeks, I am still without the bed I ordered.
Only when I as the customer contacting the company did they respond, by giving me new dates for delivery. After 19 weeks, I was still without the bed I ordered and no satisfactory explanation from the The English Bed Company apart from they were still waiting for the delivery courier to agree a shipping date, the English Bed Company said they were unable to agree a date from the courier & that I would just have to wait until the courier contacted me with a delivery date. After 19 weeks, I found this totally unsatisfactory, and still no guarantee of me receiving the bed as ordered. The English Bed Company offered no good Will gesture for the delay & customer service only solution was to offer a refund which again could take 5-7 working days. I did cancel my order as I had no confidence in the company & actually don’t believe they had any intention on completing delivery just refunding after having being paid for a bed for 4 months.
Please don’t waste your money or time with this company. Total shambles & a joke
