AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS, very long story cut as short as I can make it. I have the highest level of warranty available my Haldex pump failed 4 months ago I notified the warranty took my car into Land Rover who diagnosed the fault as “a sudden mechanical failure of the Haldex pump” the warranty refused to pay out and the excuse used was that “the pump had failed due to deterioration over time” despite the main dealer LRJs head Technician explaining to them that every part in every vehicle is deteriorating over time and this is not a good enough reason to reject a claim and not a true diagnostic only a matter of opinion they still refused to pay ( I should have taken this to court back then but my car had been off the road 3 weeks and I didn’t have the time to ring the warranty everyday and argue back and forth so I bit the bullet and paid the £1500 bill myself) fast forward 4 months and my car is again in the garage after breaking down this time the Haldex unit has failed and the turbo. LRJs Diagnostic came back as sudden mechanical failure of the haldex unit and sudden mechanical failure of a turbine bolt within the turbo causing the turbo to suddenly fail. But yet again the warranty company refuses to pay out and says the parts have failed due to deterioration over time, my car is 2017 on approx 45k. First they said they would accept the claim if my service history was sent to them and all in order, It is fully serviced by the main dealer and always has been, they then said that wasn’t enough the engine would need to be stripped and pictures sent, LRJ stripped the engine and sent them photos, this still wasn’t enough they wanted a detailed diagnostic from LRJ of the turbo and pictures to show it had failed,( although they had already had one) LRJ have now stripped the turbo and sent them pictures to show exactly where why and how the turbo had failed and being a turbo specialist garage have give a head engineers report/diagnostic of the turbo deemed sudden mechanical failure due to a turbine bolt inside the turbo causing the turbo to fail, would you believe this is still not enough they have now asked LRJ if they would pay for my failed parts to be fixed due to the low age/mileage of the car and if not will they send it to another turbo specialist for a second Diagnostic you honestly couldn’t make this up they apparently have no mangers to speak to, and anybody with any decision making power or anyone who can talk sense of the situation do not take customer calls I have lodged 6 separate complaints none have been followed up I now have no choice but to take legal action and travel to there head office to see if I can better communicate with them. I have had staff members laugh down the phone at me speak to me awfully hang up on me one told me Land Rover where lying to me so I added them to the call To determine the facts that staff member broke down crying and terminated the call once she was caught out lying to me, I am Embarrassed to even be a part of this situation but I will not rest until they pay out on a claim that they really have no leg to stand on as my warranty says In black and white I am covered if a part breaks due to Mechanical failure. I have been without my car for 4 weeks now they do not care as they already have my money, con men stay clear
