You don't get to see the specific seats you are buying, just the general area. I bought 3rd row seats but I have no idea if they are extreme left or right or in the center. Ticketmaster shows you this before you buy. For a $500 purchase for 2 tickets it would really be nice to know exactly what I am buying...
