Unbelievable course, its amazing how so much information can be passed on into such a short time and delivered in a way that can be remembered. My friend had attended a three week course at another centre in the south and was telling me to go where he went yet i kept getting drawn back to UK Pro Tiling Training website, the pictures and reviews looked amazing so i rang Tracey who is one of the loveliest people you could talk to, not pushy just informative and happy to listen and guide you in the right direction. I booked a two week course. The course is fast paced to get through the huge amount of practical work and information overload given but the work everyone on the course produced in the first 5 days was outstanding, the course was backed up with countless pages of information handouts, i think over 50 pages covering everything, measuring exercises, adhesives, background prep, setting out etc, step by step guides of the practical tasks done on the course, right through to dealing with different situations you will come across once you leave, you cannot fail to do a good job here, the second week on the course goes into bespoke work and Darren pulls no punches here, he expects you to do a perfect job and to rectify any mistakes you made on the first week even down to the slightest spacer that may stick out, walls, floors windows, mitres the list goes on. When i got home i met up with my friend and showed him pictures of the work i had produced and notes on the course, he was gutted to see what tiling i had done and how much i had covered in the two weeks against what he had learned on his course in three weeks so much that he has booked a week at UK Pro Tiling Training himself. You cannot go wrong with this course, it is not for the faint hearted as Darren pushes everyone hard but he is a genuine guy with your interest at the core of his delivery, another major point i would like to add is Darrens knowledge of business which he passes on to the class, everything from what to do when you leave, setting up trade accounts, finding work, pricing jobs, selling yourself to your customers, i would think it would be impossible for any other course to deliver at this level.
