Just an update on what is happening. Finished course a couple of months ago and have been tiling since. Two full rooms of wall tiles and one full room floor and wall, working with another fitter putting in all bathroom stuff. Talking to my boss (very good day rate now thanks to tiling) he was very impressed with what I knew and the other fitter was surprised when I asked a couple of questions about how he was doing things, to correct mistakes, as he had not thought about them before, IE about using SBR not PVA etc. Also finished off a couple of jobs for others on a self employed basis and used Darren's advice on getting the tiles for the customer etc so made good money on all the materials too.
