Update: As they say, the proof of the pudding is in the eating, & the best course in the world isn't worth diddly if it doesn't pull in the work. My biggest worry was coming out of the course & then not finding the work ... well, I can testify that IF you listen to what you're told on this course (& it really is all spelt out for you) I really don't see how you can fail. My experience ... did the 13 day 'ultimate course, & during my 'down-time' I was tweaking my website & FB in accordance with the advice I was receiving. Bought the professional tooling kit & made careful notes as to what other tool & equipment would be required ... it really is all there (bath boards, I praise you!). On returning home, went live about a week later ... gobsmacked! The job opportunities were just pouring in from FB & 'MyBuilder.com' (my website isn't getting the hits just yet, but working on my SEO etc.) ... I opened trade accounts at all my local tile shops, found my 'helpful' manager (you really couldn't make it up) & BOOM!! I'm now less than two weeks in & have secured myself over £2k worth of work with about the same value under consideration. I'm fully booked out for a month ahead & starting to look to regulate my workload as opposed to chase it ... I really didn't foresee (or believe) that this level of demand was out there. I know that I still have a lot to learn, but taking that first bold step into a customer's home is the bridge that you just have to cross ... it really is the start of the rest of your working life, & working for yourself is just the best thing you can do for yourself & your family. Also, the friends I made on the course are now sharing our experiences on 'Whatsapp' which is a great tool for encouragement & advice as we all look find our feet without having to show our arses to the world - it's just the nuts to know you are not alone out there. ... & if that wasn't enough, come the ultimate head-scratcher, we can always contact Darren for his unbeatable advice from all his years in the industry.
