After doing a 9 day course at uk pro tiling training which was excellent by the way run by Darren the tutor and owner and his wife Tracey who runs the office, enquires and bookings, i left the course raring to go, this course teaches everything you need to be successful as a tiler then its up to you to put whats taught into practice. 6 months on this has been a career change for the better, best week so far cleared £1600, worst week £800 with one week where i did nothing shortly after leaving but this was due to just getting my name out there, you just have to market and sell yourself like darren tells you and the work comes flooding in. Take your time at the start and don't over stretch yourself, there is little bits of stuff to learn as you go through each job as little snags crop up but then again any new career change is going to be a learning curve at the start. Darren is always at the end of the phone as I've rang him about half a dozen times to run through a situation and he's always happy to help you out even after hours Im pretty confident at it now and really enjoy the job, money and freedom is great, glad i made this decision to train here.
