product design is everything I was looking for in a pallet fork attachment, so very pleased in that regard. Very stout and trust it will give years of service. But in the short time I've used, uncovered what I perceive to be quality control issues.
1) moving the forks to outermost widths is very difficult because one of the bale spear conus isn't exactly flush, making it very difficult to move the fork past it in either direction. also think the steel at top is varied in gauge (thicker towards outer limits). So takes a big hammer to move the one forks in and out of the outer positions because of this overwhelming resistance. Perhaps this will get easier as paint and metal wears? or perhaps I'll need to grind some metal down.
2) built in 2" receiver was a selling point for me, to move trailers, but a standard drop fits way too loosely. would think those tolerances could be held significantly tighter for a more secure fitup similar to any std receiver.
