The ordering process was easy and shipping was fast. As far as the product is concerned, I've had the chance to use it a few times and it works well and seems well built. I accidentally ran over some wire panel fence and it got wrapped up in the rotor and brought it to a halt. Since the motor is on the unit and I was on the ATV, I wasn't able to immediately shut it down. Luckily after working to remove the fencing, everything still seemed to be okay and I've mowed since. A few things that could be improved: 1. There were a few bolts that had come loose in shipping. One was a bigger bolt, but luckily I still found it in the shrink wrap. The other bolt was to a battery terminal. In that case I needed to use a replacement. So better care in tightening all bolts before shipment would be good. 2. The unit was a little banged up from shipping, and there was a small tear in the rubber skirt that protects from debris flying out. 3. The owner's manual is not helpful in terms of assembly or operation. For example, even just getting the unit off the shipping pallet took some figuring out. (Hint: there is an eye bolt that you can hook a chain to in order to lift it off the pallet)--assuming you have a tractor. There was virtually no information about operation. I figured it out, but with a new implement, it would be nice to be assured that you're doing things the right way. For example, there is no separate switch to engage the mower. Once you get the throttle to a certain RPM, the mower engages. 4. One last issue is that the key ignition keeps unscrewing. This is potentially a poor design, but after tightening the last time, it seemed to stay. Time will tell if this will continually loosen, but when you need to shut it down fast, it's not good if the key ignition just spins. That's happened a few times where I had to fiddle with it to turn it off. All that said, I'm pleased so far with my purchase. It's very maneuverable and stable and hills, and does a pretty good job mulching up what you're mowing--though expect a few stragglers here and there. Overall, I think the flail mower is a good value.
