We are at the end of our rope. We ordered pallet forks on January 15th. We received part of the order on the 19th and the forks themselves a few days later. A couple of the reasons that we went with Titan Attachment is the company reputation and the fact that deliver was to occur shortly. We had a current and urgent need for those forks. However, we did NOT receive the attachment pins (the bolt through product that attaches the fork to the plate). Several calls, contacts and claims have been made. I called again today and was told that the issue was being “escalated” since the last call on Monday. As I explained to the customer service rep, who said someone would call in 24-48 hours, we don’t need another call. We need the pins/bolts to attach to the frame! I said that it is costing us time and money and we are frustrated. The issue was brought up at the end of the call that this was a “scratch and dent”. Why does that matter???!!! We are not complaining about the look or condition of the pallet forks. We are MISSING VITAL PARTS WITHOUT SUCH THE PRODUCT IS USELESS! So…if we try and find a substitute bolt/pin and that substitute fails and someone is hurt while using the Titan product because we cannot get the factory engineered product, you can be sure that Titan will be hearing from an attorney. THIS IS AN UNSAFE SITUATION THAT IS DIRECTLY IN THE CONTROL OF TITAN ATTACHMENTS. We really are quite reasonable people. We do not understand why this is so difficult to resolve. PLEASE HELP US RESOLVE THIS MATTER! If you have any suggestions as to how we are supposed to safely attach the forks to the frame, in a way that safe and properly engineered AND allows us to use the product that we purchased, we would love to hear it. Time is of the essence as we bought this for a very specific reason and project, and if we have to purchase another set of pallet forks because we cannot safely use the ones that we got from you, we will do everything possible to reclaim that additional expense. We have made several calls, filed a warranty claim, made contact through the onsite contact form...everything we know how to do. We just want the connecting pins! This is a safety hazard if we try and use something nonstandard and it is not usable without those pins.
