The 3 packages for this product arrived on 3 different days. None of the packaging survived so a lot of powder coating was damaged. The forks had no packaging or shipping info on them, which might explain why they arrived several days later than the frame. The frame had some cardboard around it, at least the part with the shipping info on it, but no other packing material. I would suggest wrapping each of the pieces in some kind of bubble pack and a lot of packing tape to hold it together. I've had other heavy metal items shipped that way and they arrived with no damage. Just cardboard isn't going to work with something this heavy. Other than cosmetic, there was no damage and the unit looks very heavy-duty.
