As is common with many items built in China, the quality is rudimentary at best, but the packing of the product for shipment is nearly always substandard. Such was the case for this work stand...the product is certainly functional, and for the price paid, very acceptable. But of course the thin layer of cardboard surrounding it was ripped and smashed, and there was essentially no "padding" ro any of the contents. So of course part of the stand was damaged cosmetically (bent and paint scrapped). Again, this doesn't impact the functionality, but I'd gladly pay five dollars more for adequate packaging.
