The root grapple is a great tool for our skid steer. It came in a large metal frame. So make sure you have some forks to get it off the truck. The connections were not tight and had to be redone because hydraulic fluid was leaking out of the lines. The design for the hoses is bad. It needs a cover. But also has to have some play as the hoses move in and out as the jaws contract and expand. We drilled holes in the frame and used bungee chords and big carabiners to keep the hoses from getting too far from the skid. They are still exposed but at least they are not in the debris. Overall a good product and we are able to get so much more done now with the 97 hp skid vs my 35 hp tractor and grapple.
