I purchased a heavy duty grapple and mounted it on a 553 loader. Within an hour the upper hydraulic cylinder pin and mounts bent. The rear plate also bent after lifting about 500 pounds. It now has been three weeks since I reported this issue to warranty and so far nothing but a run around from them. If you own a compact tractor this grapple might work. It is cheaply made and there is little or no warranty support.
As of now I have spent $2,500 and have basically a boat anchor.
