The hydraulic ram should be mounted a little differently and be several inches longer so that it can fully open and close(get tip of jaw to forks) in each of the various positions. When setting the jaws to the widest position the ram does not have enough travel to fully close the jaw. I will end up purchasing a longer ram and reconfiguring but wish it wasn't needed. The overall build is good aside from this issue.
