Ramp works exactly like I was hoping it would. Due to the way my steps are configured and my walk having both downhill and cross slope the ramp would rest on the bottom step resulting in the bottom edge sitting high by 2-1/2 to 3". I placed a 6x6x36 piece of lumber under the top section at the hinge and that allowed the bottom section to contact the ground - without creating excessive slope on the bottom section. Very solid taking wheelchair up and down the ramp, and much easier than pulling it up each individual step!
