I recently purchased a beauty item which the presenters and other reviews had highly praised . When I received the product I wasn't sure if it was the updated product or the previous model . After several messages to TJC trying to ascertain if it was the updated model and a fruitless 40 minutes speaking to a "personal shopper" who couldn't grasp what I was asking her about. TJCs customer service is obviously not situated in the UK so in the end I thanked her and ended the conversation. I couldn't open the product as that would mean I couldn't return it if it was not the one I had expected to receive so I returned it. Because it was a high value item I sent special delivery which cost me £11, this episode has made me very wary of buying from a shopping channel again. I am sure that not every person has the same experience as myself but as the saying goes "once bitten twice shy".
