I remember when 90-Fiance first aired and it was great coz it was different, bringing various races/ethnics together for a chance of love in the USA(which is not so good anymore) but at THAT time it was very interesting and successful. I remember when the racial couple Melanie and Davar were the focus there. They fought to prove that different cultures could get along and are currently living on the island with their daughter despite disputes that were raised at that time. TLC was my 'comfort' channel, now it's getting 'trashy' and away from uniting people.
My faves are: 90-day Fiance, 7 Little Johnstons, Fat Fabulous Life, Plathville. These shows deal with morals and real-life issues without any 'pillow talk' episodes needed.
