Ordered and paid online, next day they ask for more money for shipping, making their price uncompetitive. They agreed to wave the additional charges or I was cancelling the order. They used TNT to ship who (apparently) attempted delivery but never left any cards so I had no idea, and the item was returned to them.
I then get a message to say “£13.50 + VAT charge for the consignment being returned by the courier to the sender and if you wish for the order to be re-sent, you will need to make payment for the delivery charge of £6.99 + VAT”
I had had enough and now wanted a refund but said they could not refund until PayPal dispute was closed (a two week wait) – I called PayPal who told me this was simply not true, so it seems Tool-Net are just being awkward & petty.
I would spend a few more pounds and save a lot of inconvenience by shopping with a proper, reputable retailer, not one run out of someone’s house.
