I returned the car in the same condition I received it. When I picked it up, I inspected it from the outside but did not bend under it. When I returned it, the employee went to the front bumper, bent down under the license plate and said that he saw scratches and that I had been in an accident. Even though it was not caused by me, and even though I had the highest level of insurance, they told me that the deposit would be retained. Apparently, the company makes extra money by attributing old damage several times to subsequent customers. Recommendation - do not rent cars from these unless you feel like getting under the car when you receive it, inspect it for old damage when you receive it so that they do not hold you responsible for it when you return the car
