The convenience of online shopping is sometimes outweighed by requests such as this to complete a survey, even if one has made only a single purchase and is not likely to need the supplier's services again. Why is this necessary? If I buy from a shop, I pay and that's it. I am not then asked to rate their service, although I would go back to them if I had a problem with the actual purchase, or the level of service.
Yes, I can ignore the request, but if I do, I feel as though I am being unhelpful. This does not happen if I buy from a retail outlet.
