Unfortunately I was not happy with the quality of truffles that I received. I ordered 50 g black summer truffles which are in season currently according to Trufflehunter website, they cost me 45 pounds. However when the truffles arrived they didn’t have the well-known truffle taste or smell at all. The truffle butter that came with them had much more truffle taste and smell ironically. I later read that summer truffles only get ripe closer to July/August time, but unfortunately that was after I already purchased them. Asides from that, the website is really good and all the information provided is quite useful including the recipes.
