We originally tried a cheap mat from a sports store under our bar. It didn't fit right and it wasn't safe. This was well worth the money! We now have something that will keep our daughter safe while practicing at home and it fits perfectly underneath the bar. The blue color looks great and it's awesome the cover is washable.
