I went to this store to purchase a birthday present and some Christmas ornaments with my partner and friends. When we went to the checkout to pay for our items we were conned by the lady behind the tills and told we could go and get a further 2 ornaments and they would be free. This was a lie and we were charged for them unfortunately as we live in Plymouth and didn’t check the receipt until we got home we can’t make the trip back to go to the store to complain in person. She also offered us to donate £1 to charity and we would get a free bottle of water, this was another con. Our friends were also conned in the same manner with the offer of free ornaments which they paid for without realising, which begs the question how many other innocent people has this shop conned?
