I wanted to give my wife a dashcam for Christmas, I was told ok to buy camera for home delivery (so that I could give it as a present on Xmas day) and sort out and pay for home fitting ater Christmas.
I have now been told that home fitting and dashcam have to be purchased together with camera supplied at time of fitting.
I will now have to return camera (and find a supplier more dependable than Halfords). Don't depend on what you are told by Halfords before buying something.
