Despite it being a bitterly cold March day my drives of a Lotus Elise and Caterham 7 were brilliant. The U-Drive organisation and emphasis on safe driving was excellent and the instructors who accompanied me on the drives were both helpful and encouraging me to drive better. Both cars were challenging to get into and the Caterham's foot-well is so tight I had to remove my right shoe to avoid simultaneously hitting both the accelerator and the brake. The posh luxury cars may be grand but for a real driving experience I'd thoroughly recommend these two sports cars.
