The surprise 70 birthday gift was amazing, the choice of the classic cars was easy for me as the Austin Healey 3000 and the Mini Cooper S were the first two cars I wanted to buy but my father said no. The handling, the drive and experience was so memorable, as was the left hand drive automatic Ford Mustang. As an extra my son arranged for me to take out the Lotus Elise, which was just as much fun but faster on the straight sections of the excellent track. The instructors were friendly with their expert advice and knowledge. And their complementary notes on my driving slip is now framed and on display on my desk.
