The rat proof feeder is solidly made and pretty easy to assemble. I think I must have some pretty thick chickens, because it took them a long time to find where the feed was despite having a brick on the tredle to keep it open and sprinkling food on the treadle to give them a clue. I will keep the brick in place for a couple of weeks to make sure they they are used to the new set up.
