The feeder arrived nice and promptly. I think it will be just the ticket if I can only get my silly birds to stop being frightened of the clang every time they open it. At the moment I have to keep it open with a brick which rather defeats the object of keeping the rats at bay. Whenever I take the brick off and one chicken stands on the treadle, when it clangs open, the whole lot flee.
