Extremely Disappointed – Poor Handling of Serious Medication Concern
I have been a loyal customer of UK Meds for years, but my recent experience has completely shattered my trust in this company. I received medication with packaging that appeared to have been tampered with. Concerned about the integrity of the medication, I immediately contacted UK Meds to report the issue.
Rather than taking my concerns seriously, their Customer Service Manager, Ashley, was dismissive and unprofessional, prioritising challenging my credibility over investigating a potentially serious issue with prescription medication. At no point during my initial report was I asked for photographic evidence (even though I took some photos of the damaged and open packaging) yet later, UK Meds refused to escalate my complaint even though I had sent photos, on the basis that I had not provided 'the correct' images. Had I been asked at the time, I would have taken photos before disposal.
Their handling of this issue has been appalling. Instead of conducting a proper investigation into the tampered and damaged packaging, they stonewalled my complaint and refused to acknowledge the legitimate concerns I raised. For a company selling prescription medication, their lack of responsibility and unwillingness to ensure patient safety is deeply concerning.
Given this experience, I will never use UK Meds again and strongly advise others to be cautious when ordering from them. A company that refuses to properly investigate medication concerns is not one that should be trusted with people’s health.
Avoid UK Meds.
