August 2021 I buy a rubbish bin with sensor at 80€. So far so good April 2022 The sensor of the rubbish bin does not work (ok it happens). I send email on support. They tell me that gonna send spare parts to fix it by myself. I agree on that. May 2022 Their response: “Due to the backlog of orders in our warehouse ,the estimated delivery date is 25 working days and the product you ordered is out of stock, we can't send the replacement currently. In light of the situation at hand, we can offer a partial refund of € 15 as compensation if you could fix the problem yourself.” My response: I told them that according to European guarantee law they have the obligation to fix it or to send a new one. Their response: “We regret to inform you that after consulting with our quality department, the issue is not covered by our standard warranty as described below and we will not be able to agree to your request. We would like to inform you that vidaXL's standard burden of proof rules states that for the first 6 months after the purchase, the customer is entitled to a part replacement and return for a full replacement. After 6 months have passed, this means if you have reported or encountered defects after 6 months we can process a part replacement for your item.” My response: OK then… You may proceed with the refund of 15€ Their response We would like to inform that € 15.00 has been processed successfully 11th of July I am still waiting my refund…
