Elegant Elbe- Viking Fontane. Public areas excellent, staff most attentive and efficient, as was our cabin steward. Our cabin, however, was rather cramped and the air conditioning unit somewhat noisy. My bed was narrow and uncomfortable.
Food was superb throughout. Tour guides were helpful and knowledgeable. German speaking guides didn't seem to know that "schloss" means either castle (their usual translation) or "country house/stately home", which the "schlosses" we visited were!
