We have cruised both the Danube and the Rhine. The ships are extremely comfortable and the food consistently extremely good. All the places visited and the tour guides were of high standard. The guides on the Danube cruise were particularly good giving quite harrowing accounts of life under and after Soviet occupation. Fellow travellers were good company- those that had done previous cruises with other companies all told us that Viking were the best by a margin.
