Myanmar is a fascinating country, the people are very friendly and welcoming although in the villages some didn't even have electricity or the modern gadgets that we take for granted. The crew and Tour Managers were excellent at providing an unforgettable holiday full of happy memories. The sunsets were spectacular and one viewed across the longest teak bridge was enjoyed from a gondala with a glass of sparkling wine delivered by boat. That is the best way to describe how we were looked after throughout. You need to be able to walk from the ship up the riverbank (with helping hands from the crew) and around temples and pagodas but thoroughly recommended with the usual Viking 5 star service, entertainment and special touches.
