We wrote on the cruise itself that we had booked as a large party (10) . We are friends who do not meet very often but appreciate our time together especially over a meal. Although we agree with you r open seating plan in general we think that in a few instances like a group booking this could be relaxed. We had in addition one member who is a coeliac and the staff were excellent but it helps them if the person is seated in the same area for each meal
