Have just returned from Imperial Jewels of China. Excellent holiday, well organised, excellent ship and hotels. Yangtze river did not quite come up to expectations although the three gorges and goddess stream were well worth the visit and the lock system was an interesting experience. Disappointed that we were unable to go inside the dam to see how things operated and that you no longer have the optional excursion to the Summer Palace, this might be preferential to the Peking Opera. Facilities on the ship were excellent as were the Officers and staff. Our one criticism was the lack of seating on the sun deck, there is plenty of room for more chairs and or beds.
